Mae Six Bells yn bentref bach y mae ei enw&#039;n dod o dafarn Six Bells a safai ger clwstwr bach o fythynnod cynnar. Roedd glofa Six Bells yn gyflogwr mawr ddiwedd y 19eg ganrif ac yna i mewn i&#039;r 20fed ganrif. Yn anffodus, mae Six Bells yn adnabyddus yn hanes Cymru fel safle ffrwydrad glofa tanddaearol trasig ym 1960 a laddodd 45 o lowyr. Fel teyrnged mae cerflun coffa o&#039;r enw&#039;r &#039;Guardian&#039;, cerflun dur trawiadol 20 metr o uchder, yn sefyll ar ochr y bryn yn edrych dros safle&#039;r hen lofa i anrhydeddu&#039;r dynion a fu farw. Mae ein taith gerdded yn cychwyn o&#039;r maes parcio am ddim oddi ar ffordd Six Bells gyferbyn \u00e2 Chaffi a Chanolfan Dreftadaeth T\u0177 Ebbw Fach.
