We are incredibly proud to announce that Marauders Men’s Health has officially become an affiliated member of Ramblers Cymru, the leading voice for walkers in Wales.
What does this mean for our members?
This partnership isn’t just a badge on our website; it is a “professional backbone” for everything we do. By joining forces with a national institution, we are making our “Walk & Talk” sessions stronger, safer, and more sustainable.
The benefits of this affiliation include:
- Expert Training: Our volunteer leaders now have access to specialised training and the “Stride” e-learning hub, ensuring every walk we host is managed with the highest standards of safety and navigation.
- Total Peace of Mind: We benefit from comprehensive Civil Liability Insurance. This protects our volunteers and our charity, allowing us to focus 100% on supporting your wellbeing.
- Better Paths for All: We now have a direct line to advocate for the 21,000+ miles of Welsh footpaths. If a route we use in Neath, Port Talbot, Torfaen or RCT is blocked or damaged, we have the weight of Ramblers Cymru behind us to help get it fixed.
- Future Funding: This opens doors to grants and project support, such as the Paths to Wellbeing initiative, helping us improve the local trails we love.
Our mission remains exactly the same: improving men’s mental and physical health through the power of the outdoors. However, with the support of Ramblers Cymru, we now have the technical and legal expertise to grow further and reach even more men across Wales.
