On the second Monday of every month we open the doors of the Llantrisant Guildhall for our Marauders Social Hub.
Everyone is welcome and it’s a great way of either catching up with your fellow Marauders in a relaxed environment or to drop in, if it’s your first time, to find out more about us if you’ve not yet decided to take a more active part in the group.
Each month, we split the morning into two; the first half is our informal catch up followed by an invited guest speaker or community group who come in to give us some insights, advice, guidance, education to help us with our lives.
Everyone is welcome and we supply free light refreshments throughout the morning too.
Guardians for Heroes
This month our special guest will be Paula Massey who set up ‘Guardians for Heroes’ in 2017 which is a dedicated hub and Community Interest Company supporting veterans through activities like arts, crafts and woodwork. This has been proven to help with mental wellbeing. The hub is considered a safe social space to avoid isolation. Paula and her colleagues use the tag line of ‘Veterans helping Veterans’ and they have supported so many. Paula will join us at 10.45.
