On the second Monday of every month we open the doors of the Llantrisant Guildhall for our Marauders Social Hub.
Everyone is welcome and it’s a great way of either catching up with your fellow Marauders in a relaxed environment or to drop in, if it’s your first time, to find out more about us if you’ve not yet decided to take a more active part in the group.
Each month, we split the morning into two; the first half is our informal catch up followed by an invited guest speaker or community group who come in to give us some insights, advice, guidance, education to help us with our lives.
Everyone is welcome and we supply free light refreshments throughout the morning too.
Kevin Dillon – Amateur radio enthusiast
We are joined in October by Kevin Dillon. Kevin is a keen walker like ourselves but this hobby also comes with another passion. Kevin is involved in ‘Summits on the air’ (SOTA) which is a global award scheme for amateur radio operators and shortwave listeners that encourages portable operations from hills and mountains. Kevin will be keen to tell us about his hobby.
Website & Digital ID
Greg and Jeremy will also be on hand to demonstrate the features of our new website and to help anyone who has not yet provided their information required to generate the Digital ID. If you want to try it yourself, follow these simple steps –
- Visit the Marauders website – http://www.marauders-menshealth.org.
- Click the ‘JOIN’ button on the Homepage
- Complete the ‘Sign up for free’ short questionnaire
- Bingo …. You get your Digital ID/QR code that you can screen grab or save in your phone’s Wallet
- Just bring it along with you to any Marauders event, the event organisers will scan it and you’ll be checked-in. Simple!
