This is a great role for someone who enjoys meeting people, chatting with the public, and helping spread awareness of the work we do. You don’t need previous experience – just a friendly approach and willingness to get involved.
What the role involves
As an Information Events Volunteer, you might help with things like:
- setting up information stands and promotional materials
- speaking to members of the public about Marauders Men’s Health
- handing out leaflets and answering basic questions
- encouraging people to get involved or attend activities
- helping collect contact details or signposting enquiries
- packing away stands and equipment at the end of events
- helping create a welcoming and positive presence for the charity
Time commitment
This role is flexible and usually based around occasional events.
You might help:
- at weekend fayres and community events
- occasionally throughout the year
- or more regularly if you’d like to attend multiple events
There’s no pressure – we’re happy to discuss what suits your availability.
What you’ll get from it
Volunteering with the Marauders can be a real boost for your own wellbeing too.
This role could help you:
- build confidence speaking to others
- improve communication and people skills
- meet new people and feel part of a team
- gain experience in community engagement and events
- support an organisation making a real difference
Depending on the role and your interests, there may also be opportunities for training and development.
Reasonable out-of-pocket expenses will be covered, and eligible volunteers can also benefit from Tempo Time Credits, our reward and recognition scheme for volunteers.
