“In May or June last year I joined the Marauders and my first ever walk was the Skirrid near Abergavenny. I can honestly say that it’s the best thing I’ve ever done! Although I lost a close friend last year to cancer, I’ve made loads of new friends and joined a brotherhood. I’d just like to thank you guys for the camaraderie, bad jokes etc. I know I’m a lot fitter even with a dodgy knee so thank you guys and I look forward to the next few months.”
